I received a desk copy of Jeremy Adam Smith’s new book, The Daddy Shift.  It is a must read for any father who is interested in taking an active role in his children’s lives.  Particularly if you are the primary care-giver.

My mom came for a visit a week ago.  It was a real pleasure to use this time to introduce Theory to some food.  She has been watching us eat for several weeks and had begun to reach out for our food as we were eating. On April 12th, Theory received a gift from some friends of ours - Cozies by Zutano.  These are fleece booties that fit snugly so that they don’t fall off of newborn’s feet.  A number of friends of ours have used them and really love them - so we were excited to receive them.  We put them on her in the morning and spent the day at home visiting with Tara’s parents.
