Theory slept in late – I was hoping to get up at 4:30 am as usual to spend some quality time with her before heading to the airport.  Instead Tara woke me from a deep sleep at 6 am, Theory between us, who was completely out.

Sunday was Mother’s Day, Tara’s first.  It certainly gives you a different perspective on the holiday when you are celebrating it not as a child of your own mom, but as a partner to the person who gave birth to your child.  As much as I thought mother’s day was a holiday about the relationship between mother and child, at this point in my lifecycle it means much more than this.

Last night I went and had a couple of beers with the creative directors that I use to work with at MB.  One of them, Jennifer, made Theory this toy.  It is a large block with Theory’s name on each of the six sides.  Thank goodness Theory has exactly 6 letters in her name.  Very cool.
