It has been raining for days and we have been largely cooped up inside. So I have been cooking up a storm. Yesterday it was hummus to eat with the par-baked French bread that we baked the day before. Today, Tara and I took Theory to the Smithsonian Museum near the house. It is a museum of American Indian Cultural Heritage. The building is spectacular, overlooking Battery Park with views of the Statue of Liberty.
The building is huge but the museum is quite small. Apparently much of the museum is a high-security court were hearing take place, including the Enron hearings. It is also where the Bankruptcy Court is located.
